Meals on Wheels

Our Lady of Peace is a member of the South Minneapolis Meals on Wheels (SMMOW) program, which has been serving the south Minneapolis area since 1973.   SMMOW is a non-profit organization operated by 24 Southside churches.   SMMOW delivers a hot noon meal to homebound residents in south Minneapolis (from 62 Crosstown to Lake Street, from 35W to the Mississippi River), Monday through Friday 52 weeks of the year.

OLP provides volunteer drivers for two weeks in alternating months.   Meals are picked up either at Nokomis Square Cooperative (50th Street and 35th Avenue) or in front of the church.
