Food Service

The food service department at Our Lady of Peace is delighted to welcome students, staff, and parents to the cafeteria whether you eat meals prepared here or bring them from home. As the nation focuses on healthy eating patterns for children, the culinary team here is committed to providing learners with healthy and diverse choices. Please join us in our efforts as we encourage students to try a wide variety of healthy foods.

Participants will be provided with regular Food Service statements. The statement will contain balance information. Each family has an identification number.

Meal Cost

Effective September 18, 2006 the cost of a meal prepared at OLP is $2.00. This does reflect a twenty cent increase over the current cost of $1.80. The increase is needed to keep pace with increased expenses. Milk is $0.30.

Making A Deposit

When you make a deposit, please write your family ID number on the check. You may send the check with your child to school and given to your child's teacher or advisor. Payments may also be brought directly to the School Ministry Office. Please keep in mind that this is a pre-paid program.

Student Use

Students are assigned an ID number. When a student purchases a meal the ID number is entered into a computer which calculates use.

Notification

Should your account balance be getting low or in the negative, a statement will be sent home to notify you. Your prompt attention will ensure that your child can enjoy the food service provided here.
